Rowdy Rooftop Burner Fund
So, there are plenty of charity events, plenty of causes worth fighting for, whole countries at war.... But sometimes it’s just about helping your friends, helping those you love. And here Rowdy's friends are taking the opportunity to help him to get back on his feet.If you don’t know, here’s the introduction. Rowdy is one of the longest standing players in UK graffiti, supporting the scene and playing his part in what has now turned into a global phenomenon. He has painted with the best of them, in fact is one of the best of them, always sticking true to his vision, rocking his own style, never selling out his ideas. Recently he walked out of his house, which also served as his studio and when he returned a half hour later, everything had been burned to the ground. EVERYTHING! ID, money, clothes, personal possessions, art, the ability to make art, everything gone!
So, we’re taking this as an opportunity to support someone who has so readily supported us as a scene by auctioning some art to help him get back to a position where he can do what he does best, making art.
It’s a testament to his popularity and reputation that so many artists have donated work to this auction. All work has been personally donated by the artists and the galleries that represent them: Banksy, Paul Insect, Swoon, Sickboy, Hush, Espo, the whole Burning Candy crew and a whole bunch more... So, it’s your chance to buy something beautiful and at the same time help out someone who has helped in his way to make graffiti and street art what it is today.

LL Brainwashed

And armed with things that make marks LLB started to make a mess." - 1loveartI always knew this guy was part of the crew Burning Candy but i never looked into him properly and discovered the crazy stuff he creates. This evening i've been looking all over to find pieces and stuff he's done, their isn't much i have to say but i did find his flickr and various other sites. His work really intrigues me, especially as he seems to vary what he does. I cannot explain how much BC are doing right now, its crazy! Over at Vandalog i've been hearing about the film about BC, filmed by Dscreet, one of the members of Burning Candy. Check out more over on Vandalog.

Penny's 'Thumbs Down'
The smallest stencil i have ever seen in my life, yes that is the actual size of it and not only that... it was hand cut as well. Truly mind-blowing. Penny also does stencils with lots of layers and other incredible stuff check him out!

Bäst
Somehow i only just discovered the amazing artist that is Bäst. Collage's such as this are only a minor of what i have found him to be able to do. I, myself, am a collage kinda guy. I love making them and seeing them. Brilliant stuff. Keep watch of this guy on his website (its a pretty funky website to, so if you don't like what you see check it anyway!)Olly x

Interview with Oneup
Hey Oneup, how's things?
All good in the hood matey
Firstly how long have you been writing Oneup?
As individuals we've been writing for ages but we're not really about that we are all still writing when we get the chance but its not at the top of our list at the moment and Oneup aint really a tag it's more of a.. well I dont know whatever really, if people want to write it everywhere we're down with that lol
How many people are actually part of the Oneup team?
I couldn't tell you mate its an ongoing thing, anyone who wants to do something with Oneup is welcome. We're always expanding, getting bigger and bigger each day.
I certainly see Oneup or the Oneup Face everywhere, but usually stickers, where did the whole sticker idea come from?
I dont know really, it's alot easier wacking up a sticker than wacking up a tag and sticker's can look a lot better to. Any one can put them up as well, We have sent them all over North, South, East and West and even Ireland lol.
Would you say your part of the uprising phenomenon that is 'Street Art' or do you hate the idea as some do?
We're down with whatever. If some one whats to put us in a category then go for it, but where always mixing stuff up. Events, Sticker's, Music, Art and Graff so we're a bit of everything lol
There seems to be a lot going on for you at the moment: Tshirts, a Oneup vs Dubfreaks event and also your giving away stickers for free to get your name up even more!
Yeah man definitely, its going to be a big year for Oneup. We're going to be doing a lot of stuff with Dubfreaks, our dubstep brother's and the sticker's are on going and always will be so get in contact if you would like some.
Lastly, What artists inspire you?
Anything and everything, not a lot more I can say then that.
